BoBunny – Celebrating Freedom Collection – 12 x 12 Chipboard Stickers with Foil Accents
Every year we take photos of our garden and yard to remember how it looks because we tend to change things up a bit every year.
Writing down tips like how long certain items last such as garden posts and what plants do well in certain areas of the yard can be helpful as the new gardening season begins. This can help you grow plants successfully each year and expand on your gardening knowledge.
An easy way to assemble a garden journal is to get a large 3 ring binder – make sure it has front and rear pouches. Fill the binder with thing such as graph paper, wide ruled paper for notes, vinyl pouches and page protectors to hold photos, clippings, labels, seed packets, dried flowers, tags from garden products and whatever you want to save.
Use tabbed dividers to keep items sorted and vinyl pockets to hold magazine clipping and assorted other items.
Arrange your journal by season (winter, spring, summer, fall) or by month. Add in things such as landscaping notes, things to to, garden plans, changes and solutions, garden diseases and more.
A binder can be added to each year.
Another way to keep all your items in order is to also make a garden journal on your computer and add photos, notes, scan in items such as tags and labels.
