Materials Used – 100% Cotton Yarn 1 Ball
Gauge: 13 dc and 6-1/2 rows = 4″ or (10cm)
Directions for Granny Square Crochet Dishcloth
Ch 5. Join with Slip Stitch to form a ring (or use a magic ring and close the circle)
1st Rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc) (3 dc. (Ch 2. 4dc) 3 times in ring. Ch 2, Join with sl st to top of ch 3.
2nd Rnd : Ch 3 (counts dc) 1 dc in each of the next 3 dc. (2 dc. ch 2. 2 dc) in the next ch-2 sp. *1 dc in each of the next 4 dc. (2dc. Ch 2. 2 dc) in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * twice more. Join with slip st to top of ch-2 sp.
3rd to 8th rnds: Ch 3 (counts as dc). *1 dc in each dc to next ch-2 sp. (2 dc. Ch 2. 2dc) in next ch-2sp. Rep from * 3 times more. 1 dc in each dc to end of rnd. Join with sl st to top of ch 3.
9th rnd: Ch1. 1 sc in each dc around, having 3 sc in corner ch-2 sps. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.
Note you can add and edging if you prefer.
