Bernat Super Value Yarn
For our pattern we used Bernat Worsted Weight yarn in various brown and off white colors and alternated the pattern. A size H6 Crochet Hook was used for the brown pattern. Using the worsted weight yarn made the blanket lighter and easy to work with. It’s a simple pattern that you can crochet as you watch television or listen to music. The stitches are simple with a single crochet and double crochet alternating in each row.
The fun thing about the pattern is that you can crochet a different afghan every time with different colors and changing the amount of stripes in the rows if you want. No matter how you make it the great thing is the pattern has a wonderful texture and is sure to keep you warm and cozy all year long!
