There are some steps to take in order to make sure that your face mask fits properly.
According to the CDC, masks should

  • fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
  • be secured with ties or ear loops
  • include multiple layers of fabric
  • allow for breathing without restriction
  • be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape
The designs in Breathe Easy have been working on easy-to-make patterns for masks that fit these recommendations.
These masks are intended for personal use.
In addition to masks there are a few surgical caps that you can sew also.
