Loom Knitting Basics and Instructions


Loom knitting can be fun and easy to do if you learn the right techniques.


Loom knitting lets you make hats, scarves, pot holders and a variety of other projects that can be made as gifts or for around the house.
The following information is for Basic stitches on a single rake.
You can use any loom as a single rake. 1 Ball or skein of practice yarn and a loom yarn pick.

Both instructions start with the cast on and end with your first row completed. A ‘stitch’ is reference to a single peg being worked. A whole loom 
of pegs being worked is a row.
